With every photo I take I strive to capture all of the power and emotional intensity of any artistic endeavor—music, theatre, dance, sport, cosplay, you name it—and display it comprehensively in a single, decisive frame.
MUSIC
As a lifelong music lover and experienced performing musician, I feel most at home in the energizing bustle of live concerts. This enthusiasm defies any limitation of genre—whether it's rock, metal, country, classical, pop, or an innovative hybrid, I endeavor to capture the creative energy of the artist and the unbreakable bond they share with their audience.
COSPLAY
I am continually astounded by the dedication, talent, and passion that is displayed by cosplayers. Whether I recognize one of my favorite characters, discover a new fandom, or get to know an original creation of the artist underneath the garb, I'm always eager to learn more about the cosplayer's artistic process. For me, it's important to document the detail of the costumery, the aura of the character, and the spirit of the cosplayer.
THEATRE
Talk about grabbing those decisive moments! I've frequented the Bristol Renaissance Faire as a hobbyist since 2014 and recently earned a degree in English with a specialization in Early Modern British drama, so you can imagine how I feel about theatre. I'm especially fond of independent and student-run theatre companies!
